Xavier & Audrey’s Fall Wedding at Mansions on Fifth

A Romantic Pittsburgh Celebration

If you’re planning a fall wedding in Pittsburgh and dreaming of historic architecture, vibrant foliage, and timeless portraits around the city — Xavier & Audrey’s wedding day is the perfect inspiration.

From a heartfelt ceremony at Mansions on Fifth to a sunrise portrait session overlooking the city skyline at Mount Washington, their day was equal parts elegant, emotional, and unmistakably Pittsburgh.

And yes — we chased the morning light across the city for portraits at the North Shore (those iconic yellow bridges!), and wrapped with romantic moments at The Frick Pittsburgh.

If you’re looking for a Pittsburgh wedding photographer who captures true-to-life color, candid joy, and natural moments, keep reading.

A Historic Fall Wedding at Mansions on Fifth

Nestled in the heart of Shadyside, Mansions on Fifth is one of the most iconic Pittsburgh wedding venues for couples who love old-world charm. With its grand staircase, rich wood detailing, and intimate garden spaces, it creates the kind of atmosphere that feels both luxurious and welcoming.

Xavier & Audrey leaned fully into the romance of fall — deep seasonal tones, candlelight glow, and florals that felt lush without overpowering the historic beauty of the space. The crisp autumn air paired perfectly with golden leaves lining the streets of Shadyside.

Their ceremony was emotional in the best way — quiet tears, steady hands, and that look couples give each other when everything else fades away.

Sunrise Wedding Portraits At Mount Washington, Clemente Bridge, and Frick Park

The morning after their wedding, we met before sunrise at Mount Washington — and I will forever recommend this to couples wanting something extra special.

The Pittsburgh skyline at sunrise is soft, pastel, and calm in a way it never is during the day. No crowds. Just the city slowly waking up.

Audrey’s dress caught the early light, and Xavier couldn’t stop smiling (my favorite kind of problem). The result? Romantic, cinematic portraits with the city stretching out behind them.

If you’re considering Pittsburgh wedding photos on Mount Washington, sunrise is truly unmatched. We made a stop at the North Shore for portraits with the iconic bridges — including the instantly recognizable Roberto Clemente Bridge.

Finally, to balance the city skyline and bridge views, we finished portraits at The Frick. The architecture and manicured grounds bring an editorial, European feel — right in Pittsburgh.

The soft stone, tree-lined paths, and quiet corners gave Xavier & Audrey space to just be together. No posing marathon. No stiff moments. Just connection.

These are the kinds of wedding portraits that feel timeless years from now.
