Iceland Trip | January 2019

As many of you know, Jon and I went to Iceland in December, exploring the southern coast and trying (and failing) to see the Northern Lights. Since seeing the lights is a bucket list item for me, I wasn’t content to miss out. As soon as our flight landed in Pittsburgh, I was already planning on the next trip.

Kat from Requium Images sent me a dm on instagram, saying she’d love to go too. From there, our next trip was born! We went for a few days in January, meeting up with Dallas & Joe for their engagement session and taking lots of time to explore. It is always fun to travel with other photographers.

On this trip, we lucked out and got to see the Northern Lights multiple times, even stopping at Geysir and seeing the lights as the water erupted. Such a unique experience!
