Sarah | An Oakland Senior Portrait Session | Pittsburgh
Sarah wanted urban, but a focus on the historic buildings of the city instead of the traditional skyline. She decided on a combination of Pitt's campus and Phipps to bring in a more natural element. We started bright and early, right before sunrise.
Emily | A North Park Senior Session
Kicking off the first of many is Emily. She emailed me with a request for a boho-style shoot with a variety of backdrops. Of course the first place that came to mind was North Park, simply because of all the variety it has in one location. Waterfalls, the lake, woods, fields of grass, you name it. - it is all at North Park
Shelby & Anthony | A Circuit Center Ballroom Wedding
This couple always makes me smile. Watching them celebrate their wedding day with friends and family was amazing. The ballroom was decorated impeccably with ivory, pinks, and many many cookies. It was my first time working there, and they put on quite the event! The party was hopping all night long!
Sarah & Jon | A North Shore & Point State Park Engagement
Sarah and Jon wanted photos with the city in the background, but we ended up with so much more. The sunset that night rivaled that on any beach! It was incredible. They also brought their two adorable six-month old puppies.
Tam & Randall | A Phipps Conservatory Wedding
Tam & Randall got married on a rainy July afternoon in a quiet ceremony. They were surrounded by friends and family. It was intimate and beautiful. After the ceremony, we focused on their family pictures, because a month before, we had already done their formal portraits! The focus of the day was on the two of them and their families. I've been holding onto their pictures for a month, so now I get to share!
Taylor and Christian | An Oakland Engagement Session
Taylor and Christian decided on Oakland for their engagement shoot. We traveled all over, from inside the Cathedral of Learning, to Phipps, to the columns, to Panther Hollow. We hiked trails, enjoyed the sunshine, and had a ton of fun.
Faith | The Mexican War Streets Mansion
I had access to this GORGEOUS mansion in the Mexican War Streets for the morning, so I brought my friend Faith for a fun photoshoot. We had two dresses from Rent the Runway, and three floors of abandoned goodness to work with. There is so much character in the old homes of Pittsburgh. The detailing is incredible.
Maggie & Nate | A North Park Engagement
Maggie and Nate wanted a nature-inspired shoot, and there is no better place to go for that than North Park. We had a perfect day, and managed to incorporate the lake, a waterfall, a field, woods, and more into their session. Pretty impressive for being out for only two hours! They hiked all over the park (and may have driven a little too) to get to the perfect spots. I'm so happy with how the session turned out!
