These two love birds were so much fun to photograph. They decided to take some portraits to celebrate their anniversary, and go to some of the spots they didn’t have time for on their wedding day. Personally, I love the idea of getting back in front of the camera for anniversaries. It’s always amazing to be able to re-capture that feeling of excitement.

These two love birds were so much fun on the beaches of Paradise Island. What’s better than your toes in the sand and the love of your life on your arm?

Also, I’m slightly obsessed with Kevin’s shirt. Pineapples? Yes please!

Colorado Engagement Session | Charlotte and Aaron

I had the opportunity to travel to Colorado last month to create incredible photos with Charlotte and Aaron. We hiked a few miles and came across some beautiful locations! One of my favorite spots included a very frozen Bierstadt lake, which this gorgeous couple stood on for some photos. It was a blast and I can’t wait to travel for more sessions in the future!

Denise and Yang braved the cold for their engagement session! Winter in Pittsburgh can be a challenging time for photos. But it also means less people are out, so it can be less awkward than trying to capture photos on a crowded day.

McConnells Mill Engagement Session | Hallie & Tyler

I had so much fun photographing Hallie and Tyler! They made an incredible location even more beautiful. McConnells Mills is a personal favorite. It is green & lush, and an easy hike to get to the most gorgeous scenery. Especially if you’re looking for a natural vibe, this should be at the top of the list.

Ahhh Iceland, my new favorite country. I’ve been there twice in the past few months, and am already dying to go back to explore during the summer. My husband and I went there together first, and you can check out that blog post here.

For this trip, I traveled with another photographer, Kat from Requiem Images. I posted on my instagram that I wanted to go back and photograph a couple, and she instantly said she wanted to come too. And here we are!

James proposed to Anna at the Pittsburgh Zoo! So what better place to have their engagement photos taken?! It did rain throughout most of their shoot, but that just meant that the zoo was empty. Since we had the place to ourselves, we took our time strolling through.

Luckily, there are many spots that we could go indoors and escape the dreary Pittsburgh weather. The aquarium was a favorite.

Dustin & Vicki are an active couple, and they often bike out at North Park and stop for a beer (or two). What better way to capture their relationship than to join them for a drink, then explore the park together. We ended up with an amazing sunset that will be hard to top. As you’ll be able to tell from these photos, they are a blast to hang out with.
