Raven's Rock WV Engagement Session | Karah & Ian
We drove all the way down to Coopers Rock State Forest in West Virginia to find the perfect cliff-top view for Karah & Ian’s engagement session. Together, we hiked out to the edge and watched the sunset over the mountains. By the time we finished, we had to hike half the trail in the dark! Good thing we brought flashlights just in case.
Cafe Delhi Wedding | Puneeta & Amrit
Puneeta & Amrit were a joy to work with. They were married at 6:30 in the morning at Cafe Delhi in Carnegie, and we did most of their portraits at nearby Carnegie Park. I had a smile on my face throughout their entire day. When you see their portraits, you can’t help but to smile. Happiness radiates from them.
Sports Complex & North Shore Senior Session | Zach
We started off Zach’s senior pictures with a trip up to Cranberry. He plays hockey, so we wanted to get a few shots in front of the Lemieux Sports Complex with his gear & jersey. Then we headed downtown for some classic bridge and skyline pictures.
Sacred Heart & Twentieth Century Club Wedding | Sophie & Ben
This ceremony has to be one of my favorites. First, Sacred Heart in Shadyside is an absolutely beautiful church. The chapel off the main sanctuary just lights up when the sun hits the stained glass. Sophie & Ben’s ceremony started off with the bells being rung. They rang so loudly you could feel it in your chest. Then the a cappella choir began. It was solemn and beautiful.
Phipps & North Shore Senior Session | Amelia
When we pulled into Phipps to start Amelia’s senior session, it began to rain. The forecast said 0% chance, but that is Pittsburgh for you! Luckily, it stopped quickly, and the rest of the session was amazing. We were able to stop at Phipps, the Point, and the North Shore to grab some great photos. The sunset was incredible!
St Mary of the Mount & Sheraton at Station Square Wedding | Erika & Kevin
Oh my gosh. These two. This day was so much fun. Everyone in their family was a joy to be around. You’ll be able to tell when you see these reception photos. The dance floor was lit!
For their photos, we went to Emerald View Park on Mt. Washington. It is just a little spot, but I love this view of the city. We were able to really capture Pittsburgh in their photos.
Airport Senior Session | Jacob
Jacob is a pilot, and we wanted to incorporate that into his senior portraits. We ended up at the Butler County Airport, and I’m a little obsessed with how they came out. See for yourself!
Mt. Washington & North Shore Senior Session | Halli
We had quite the hike during Halli’s senior session. Her whole family tagged along as we walked from PNC Park, through downtown, to the Point, and back. Then we chased sunset up to Mt. Washington, ending with beautiful night shots overlooking the city.
