Melissa & Zach got married in a beautiful ceremony at Cafe Brauer, a venue space at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. They came to me last year for engagement pictures, and we ended up having so much fun they brought me out to photograph the wedding!

Suzanne & Kevin celebrated their 30th anniversary with an intimate vow renewal. We started off the day with portraits at the Walled Garden at Mellon Park with their family (who were dressed impeccably! I’m obsessed with the all light color scheme!). Then we headed down to Mansions on Fifth for the actual ceremony; performed by their friends.

Sophia brought me a fun idea for her senior portraits. We did half of her session at Phipps, and then did the other half of her session underwater! Definitely something unique that I had never done before. Putting my camera underwater for the first time was terrifying, but I had a blast. So excited to share these images!

Emily chose the Strip District for her city senior session. We had to work around some of the construction that is happening on Smallman, but there were plenty of amazing spots open. At the tire-yard, we used both smokebombs and sparklers for some fun elements. Luckily, we ended up with an amazing sunset to cap off the night!

Steph & Dan had a beautiful wedding day! Their ceremony was at St. Bonaventure, which ended with a fun ribbon wand exit. Then we headed over to Washington's Landing for portraits. Unfortunately, the rain chased us back onto the bus for about 20 minutes, but luckily we were running ahead of schedule and had time to wait out the storm! Steph changed into tennis shoes, and was able to climb up the bridge for some amazing shots. Then we partied the night away at the Sheraton. 

Sarah & Jon had a beautiful wedding day! I loved the colors they chose - it made for a timeless, classic look. A nice surprise was having their pups come to the church for portraits. Afterwards, the whole wedding party headed out to North Park for pictures. We found a gorgeous cozy spot off the beaten path, then headed to the party back at the hotel!

Allison & Jeff had an absolutely gorgeous day. The ceremony was at a St. Paul Lutheran Church; a beautiful small church right outside of Harmony. Afterwards, we headed to the historic district for photos. You can't go wrong in this neighborhood. The buildings set off the girl's dresses, and we had great weather.

Maggie and Nate are the cutest couple. They are high school sweethearts, and they got married only a few weeks after graduating from college. Hard to believe they did all that planning during finals!
