Omni William Penn Wedding | Kinley and Tony

I got a fun email a while back. It was from Kinley. She told me that they wanted to elope to Pittsburgh! PA is one of the only states where you can get a self-uniting marriage license, and that is what they wanted to do. Just the two of them, saying their vows to each other, on Valentine’s Day.

Carnegie Museum of Art Wedding | Colten and Louis

I had the pleasure of photographing Colten & Louis’s amazing wedding at the Carnegie Museum of Art. The museum holds an event every third Thursday of the month for the 21+ crowd, which always has a theme. February, the theme was ‘We Do’. The art museum did something they’ve never done before - they held a contest for a win a free wedding. You just had to be willing to get married at the event, and be open to all of Pittsburgh being invited!

Seven Oaks Country Club Wedding | Kate & Dave

Katie & Dave had a chilly winter day for their wedding. They powered through pictures outside. Other than the shivering & goosebumps, you could hardly tell they were cold!

Since we all road together to get to the first look location, the groomsmen took great pleasure in blindfolding Dave so that he couldn’t catch an early glimpse of his bride-to-be. Getting him on and off the bus was a challenge, but made for some great moments. The look on his face when he saw Kate for the first time made the wait worth it.

St. Paul's Cathedral & Circuit Center Wedding | Ally & Ron

Ally & Ron are a fun-loving, adorable couple and amazing people. I was so inspired by Ally’s vision for the day. As you can see, it turned out incredible! Even though their date was cold and windy, they persevered and got some great photos. A personal favorite moment was when the cookie table was presented - there was dancing involved! Their joy is truly infectious. Everyone had a smile all night long.

Whisper Hollow Homestead Wedding | Brittany & Scott

Brittany & Scott had a beautiful day. It was a little cold outside, but everyone stayed warm & cozy inside the barn for the ceremony, and dancing always helps to chase away the chill! My favorite moment of the night was sneaking away to watch sunset over the pond (check out the last photos of this post). The colors were just incredible.

Red Fox Winery Wedding | Rachel & Bob

Rachel and Bob had a gorgeous wedding! All their details were so stunning, from the ice sculpture to the summery florals. Personally, I’m obsessed with Rachel’s hair color, and how well it worked with the style she picked!
