Senior Portraits
We ventured out to North Park for Zoya’s senior portraits this past Fall. Autumn is one of my favorite times of the year for photos. The greens are still bright, but there are golden leaves to add some interest.
Looking through these photos, you can’t help but smile. Zoya was always ready for a laugh as we walked around the park.
Max has a style like no other! He rocked his session and brought a unique flare to his photos. Personally, I think that bringing a skateboard (and smoke bombs) is probably the coolest way to end a senior session.
He also showed me a hidden place in North Park that I had never seen before. The red sand made it look like we were far from Pittsburgh. It was a difficult climb, but well worth it.
I had so much fun taking Olivia’s senior portraits down on the North Shore. The sunshine and her yellow dress were a match made in heaven.
Strip District & Oakland Senior Session | Janey
I had a blast photographing Janey. We ran all around Oakland and the Strip District to get these pictures (and even snuck in a smoke bomb or two). As the sun set, we ran to catch the city lights to end the evening.
Dane is a great hockey player, and he and his family wanted to highlight that during his senior session. Of course we had to go to PPG Paints Arena to start. We did his hockey portraits there, and then drove down to Station Square to get more of a city vibe. It was a busy night, and Dane put up with all the people watching like a champ! As per usual, we ended with some epic night shots along the river.
We did a lot of walking on this senior portrait session! The shoot kicked off with a hike down to the bottom of Panther Hollow for casual pictures. Then we drove to the Cathedral of Learning for some formal shots. Personally, I love when my senior guys come decked out in a full suit.
Olivia wanted a mix of city & garden for her senior pictures. So we started off her shoot at the walled garden at Mellon Park. It is always a classic location with elegant, curated gardens & architectural details. After just a short rain storm interrupted our session, we headed down to Point State Park to finish off the shoot. We had a gorgeous sunset to end the night!
