James proposed to Anna at the Pittsburgh Zoo! So what better place to have their engagement photos taken?! It did rain throughout most of their shoot, but that just meant that the zoo was empty. Since we had the place to ourselves, we took our time strolling through.
Luckily, there are many spots that we could go indoors and escape the dreary Pittsburgh weather. The aquarium was a favorite.

Dustin & Vicki are an active couple, and they often bike out at North Park and stop for a beer (or two). What better way to capture their relationship than to join them for a drink, then explore the park together. We ended up with an amazing sunset that will be hard to top. As you’ll be able to tell from these photos, they are a blast to hang out with.
Juliette & Gregg were just the sweetest. I loved exploring the North Shore & the Point with them. We came thisssss close to getting a parking ticket while we were at the Point, but luck was in our favor! After the Point, we drove up to Mt. Washington so that we could capture the magic of the city at night.
This was a quintessential New Orleans photoshoot. We started in Audubon Park at the Tree of Life. The sunlight streaming through the trees made me miss summertime. I just couldn’t get enough of that light. Back in Pittsburgh it snowed the day of this session.
This session was couple’s goals! The locations were all meaningful spots for them. First was started in their home, which they just moved into last year. Their pups were a joy and their home was simply stunning. Just look at the photos!
Afterwards we headed to nearby Frick Park, which is where Daniel popped the question.
These two had big ideas for their engagement session! They wanted a very fall theme, and what better way to do that than having pictures done in an apple orchard. Simmons Farm was kind enough to let us take photos while we did some apple picking - making for the perfect afternoon (except for the rain - but we’ll get to that).
Cindy & Ryan’s first date for engagement photos was rained out, but I’m almost glad it happened, because the day of their shoot was magical! The golf course let us borrow a few golf carts to explore in. During the shoot, they popped champagne and had a picnic right at sunset.
Faith & Justin just got engaged up at the West End Overlook. They reached out to plan an industrial, Pittsburgh engagement session. So what better place than the Strip District to get that gritty Burgh vibe?
