Maura & Jim | A Strip District Proposal

Jim started planning his proposal over six months ago.  He started talking about it with me about three months ago.  Two weeks ago, Jim and I met to go over the final details.  When we met, you could see how anxious he was for the proposal to go perfectly.  He brought pictures of the area, maps of the streets (two copies, one for me and one for him).  We went over rain plans, backups, and more backups (just in case).  Luckily, we didn't need them.

The day of the proposal, it was a gorgeous, sunny day.  Perfect weather.  I got to the Strip a half hour before the plan was supposed to begin.  Jim texted me to let me know everything was on time.  Then he texted me back a few minutes later to let me know that she wanted to get fries, and they'd be running a little behind!

After sitting on Smallman Street anxiously for 45 minutes, I saw them come out of 18th Street, where they had been getting Maura fries.  Maura noticed me, and started waving and jumping in my direction.  She then shouted an apology for messing up my pictures (little did she know - they were all about her!).  In the middle of the street, Jim stopped traffic, and got down on one knee...
